Iowans are taking to the skies to get animals to shelters, rescues or their forever homes. Pilots N Paws is a nonprofit that was founded in 2008 with the goal of helping transport animals in need to the places they need to go. Animals are able to fly all over the country thanks to volunteer pilots. pilotsnpaws acts as a communication hub for volunteer pilots to schedule flights based on the transportation needs of animals.
