Our March excursion to @canaveralnatlseashore was a whirlwind of fun!🌀☀️ Some highlights from our trip: ⭐️Artist Dani Amaro @amar.is.online took our group on a sound walk to soak in our natural soundscape🌿 ⭐️Dani led our group in a music circle where students collaborated to create melodies, utilizing their own voices and bodies as instruments!👏 ⭐️Students participated in a contest to see who could take the longest recording of their soundscape on the Eldora Hammock Trail 🎤 🎧 ⭐️Through our “Good Vibes” and “Echoes of the Past” lessons, we had fruitful discussions about our soundscape, it’s history, and the relationship between sounds and our emotions 🌬️🌊 🧘 We will see you this April for our final Young Sound Seekers excursion🫶 #soundscape #environmental #education #blind #ornithology #accessibility @naturenps @stetson_cas
