Smart glasses that actually look good? 🤔 When I was at Galaxy Unpacked I saw the homie Andres wearing the evenrealities glasses everywhere for his video and saw a couple others too, and it really piqued my interest. So they sent me their Even G1 b glasses to try and honestly, they surprised me. They have this built-in HUD that shows the time, date, notifications and widgets. They even have an AI assistant, but in contrast with my Ray Ban Meta glasses, they don’t have multi-modal AI with a camera, and they don’t have speakers, it’s a simple one-question chatbot that either uses ChatGPT or Perplexity. But everything is portrayed in such a simple, struggle-free operating system. It’s kind of nice. The best part? They actually look like normal glasses you'd want to wear. Nothing bulky, nothing heavy. Just simple, glasses. And you can get prescription lenses for them too, making them great for people who already wear glasses regularly.
