Looking at our next Draft Prospect Profiles with 13 days left until the NHL Draft on June 27th 👀
James Hagens, 18, is DYNAMIC. A steal candidate in the Top 10 considering his former consensus as a No. 1 overall pick. In his freshman season at BC, he became a supporting player while still averaging a point per game at the NCAA level. If he jumps back as a play driver, it would be a good sight for the team that takes him.
Roger McQueen, 18, might be the best player at this draft, he also could be the biggest risk. His arsenal is pure deception, scoring, playmaking and he’s always involved. His clearance for all combine testing should indicate a safe bet that his injuries won’t be a problem. But would you take the risk when your team is on the clock?
Hagens is unlikely to fall past 5, but McQueen is surefire to be on the board within the first ten selections. Do these guys scream Bruin to you? 🤔
