When I first started photographing wildlife I remember being pretty hard on myself — my photos didn’t look as “Nat Geo” as the work I saw from professional safari photographers online.
But recently (while digging through old hard drives to update my portfolio), I started to appreciate something else: the way I see the earth & her creatures is entirely my own. 🫶🏼
Magical. Whimsical. Feminine threads of connection, tranquility, & the softness of nature.
Like every moment in these wild, untouched parts of the world is a step into a fairytale… poetry in motion. ✨
So, maybe my wildlife photography doesn’t look like what you’d find in the pages of Nat Geo, and that’s okay. ☺️ (Mad respect for those photographers!)
Maybe bringing something different to the table is exactly the point.
