Attending workshops/photowalks/expos is a great way to gain knowledge for a low price but you have to be prepared to jostle for position among a lot of people. I’m more of a sit back and let the action come to me type so this part isn’t easy for me. During this photo walk with iamprestonluke my camera was being cleaned so I only my had my iPhone. I focused (ha!) on paying attention to how Preston worked with the model but also took a few POV snaps with my iPhone - kinda gives it the paparazzi vibe. Phone cameras have come a long way. And as always - the best camera is the one in your hand. :-) Very grateful to all the amazing photographers, influencers and helpers who took the time to present at bhphoto BILD expo this week.
