Get into a good university, land a well-paying job, climb the corporate ladder, and put our careers before ourselves. After 8 years in the rat race, I finally found the courage to step off the wheel. Turning 31 this year made me realise how quickly time slips by. If I’m lucky, I have another 40 years to live—but life is unpredictable. And there are far too many things I haven’t done because I was too busy chasing titles and promotions. Things like learning to play the drums, using a sewing machine, or starting my own business.
