Day 2 silverspurranchidaho Tuesday we were assigned horses! I got a great horse named Butch and we ended up being a great pair! He was patient with me as I learned to lope and gallop with him FOR MY FIRST TIME EVER. Can’t say it was pretty, but I did it!! It was a 16 mile trail ride that gave us the opportunity to bond with our assigned horses and get a sneak preview of the terrain we’d be riding. I was one saddle sore sucker afterwards 😅😂 Super grateful for the hands who helped me out this day and the encouragement I received!! I went into this week positive I wasn’t a good enough rider to keep up, luckily, that wasn’t the case and I got blessed with good company who pushed my boundaries and comfort levels!!
