And I would reply 'Sappho.' but either because I am getting older and more practical or because the question is phrased differently, I'm going to say Sulpicia. Another female writer about whom we don't know much, but I feel that I can fill in the blanks more easily. Also, I now recognize that my inner self identifies with the age at which Sulpicia was writing more than that of Sappho.
