It’s crazy to think that 5 years ago I was 17 years old running my ass off so that I could become the first in my family to receive a college education. I was born and raised in El Paso with big dreams, and it still doesn’t feel real now that I have graduated from the University of Texas at Austin as a division one athlete. Being part of this program has truly been a blessing.  Thank you Texas for giving me the chance to change my life and the opportunity to meet some of the most incredible people who I now call my family. I came here with a dream and I’m leaving with so much more. And to everyone who has been a part of this journey you have had such an impact on my life. Thank you.
