I’ve been thinking a lot about how we need to see more images of older couples who have “made it out alive” as I’m not sure that younger generations fully realize what the AIDS epidemic did to just one generation before me When you see images like this as a kid - especially when you are struggling to know if you are going to make it yourself - it doesn’t “indoctrinate” anything. If you’re straight … you’re gonna just be straight. But if you are like I was - praying and hoping that this “curse” would be removed …. You will see that you just have to hold on for another day. I can’t fix the world… especially right now. But if you see this and you know someone younger who needs to see this … pls share it with them.
