Strong storms hit the Philadelphia region on Thursday night, knocking out power for over 200,000 PECO customers and toppling trees and power lines. Chopper 3 got a look at storm damage across the area, including damage to the roof at the WMMR radio station in Bala Cynwyd; a car that caught fire due to a toppled power line in East Mount Airy; a tree down on Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. We also saw a closed road in Broomall where a massive tree had toppled.
