Scoliosis has been one of the major obstacles Amirah has encountered throughout her medical journey. She also lives with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome — a genetic condition that can cause a wide range of health issues, varying from child to child. She reached a major milestone three years ago when she had her final spinal fusion surgery.
