I recently got the chance to test out the new omsystem.cameras OM-3 in South Carolina for a few days, and I gotta say—I absolutely loved shooting with it. After years of shooting film almost exclusively, my biggest issue with most digital cameras is that they feel more like machines than cameras. Bulky, overly technical, and just not intuitive. But the OM-3? This thing feels right in my hands—more like a film camera than any digital I’ve used. Super natural, super fun to shoot with. We got caught in some rain while traveling, so the weatherproofing was a nice bonus—definitely gives me peace of mind when the forecast isn’t perfect. I also really enjoyed the creative dial, which lets me tweak color and lighting in-camera to get the look I want before editing. And the computational photography button? Great for being able to control the high dynamic range of light - especially in low light. Overall, this camera surprised me in the best way. Definitely one I would see myself picking up ...
