Delli Speers, an 89-year-old South Side resident, has been contributing to neighborhood's street art for more than a decade through "yarn bombing." Her work is typically knitted collars that range from a solid color to an entire rainbow. But Ms. Speers leaves her trademark of red or pink morning glories facing out to the public. “I pass something or sometimes I look at a tree and it looks unhappy,” she said. “It's just a feeling that you have that you need to do something about either that tree or that block, it needs the energy.
