Founded in 2018, Durag Fest has grown into a signature Juneteenth weekend event that transforms the city into a dynamic playground of music, fashion, art, and community. What began as a tribute to the iconic durag has evolved into a full-blown movement — where streetwear meets storytelling, and Southern soul meets global style. Whether people came to stunt in their flyest durag, uplift their crew, or simply celebrate Black freedom on their own terms — Durag Fest proved once again why it’s more than just an event.
