Thousand-year-old mummy discovered during gas works in Peru⁣ ⁣ This week in Lima, Peruvian gas workers installing pipes discovered a thousand-year-old pre-Hispanic tomb, their company confirmed.⁣ ⁣ The tomb contained the mummy of a boy, estimated to be between 10 and 15 years old, found at a depth of 1.2m. Alongside the mummy were ceramic objects such as plates, bottles, and jugs, adorned with geometric figures and depictions of fishermen.⁣ ⁣ These artifacts, along with the burial, are consistent with a style that flourished between 1000 and 1200 CE.
