A festive treat to make for Valentineās Day weekend OR meal prep! Iāll alway make at least one fun & healthy treat to keep in the freezer throughout the week & this combo is INSANE. Perfectly balanced sweetness, a little tart, with a chewy texture. Make them & thank me later š
12 large medjool dates
Raspberry chia jam:
8 oz fresh raspberries
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 c water
2 tsp maple syrup
2 tsp arrowroot powder
Protein Brownie layer:
3/4 c oat flour
1/2 c equipfoods chocolate protein powder
1/4 c almond butter
1/4 c maple syrup
1/4 c unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Splash of vanilla extract
Chocolate layer:
1 cup chocolate chips (I love the traderjoes dark)
1 tbsp coconut oil
In a small saucepan, cook the jam ingredients over medium heat for 10-12 minutes until thick/gelled, stirring periodically.
