Baked brie is a classic appetizer around the holidays, so I wanted to make a version with some of my favorite flavors. Let me tell you, it’s addicting 👏🏻 Sweet, savory & tons of texture, your friends & family will absolutely love it!! 💛
8 oz brie cheese, top rind cut off
4 strips prosciutto, finely chopped
1 large apple, peeled & diced
1/3 c walnuts, chopped (can sub pecans too!)
1 tbsp butter
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 red pepper flakes
Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice rind off top of brie & place in a small baking pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes until middle is melty. Meanwhile, in a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat, add diced apples & walnuts. Cook for about 2 minutes tossing frequently then add maple syrup, cinnamon & red pepper flakes.
