The ninth annual Eco Challenge, sponsored by Dan Squiller, saw six teams of students test their innovation skills to create and present plans for sustainability on campus. ♻️ This competition is a part of associate professor Kim Jordan's Leadership in Practice class, which is focused on using hands-on learning to teach students how to tackle real-world sustainability issues. This year, Team Six won the top prize for its plan to replace the University Service Center lighting with cost-effective LED lights to both improve the workspace and support OHIO's pledge to be carbon-neutral. 💡 🔗 Learn more at the link in bio!
