On Friday, Bay Area native and @nprmusic's 2025 Tiny Desk Contest winner @rubyibarra performed an electrifying set at @lagunitaspetaluma as part of the Tiny Desk Contest On The Road Tour 🌟 A research scientist and fiercely poetic lyricist raised in San Lorenzo, Ibarra raps in English alongside the Filipino languages of Tagalog and Bisaya.
