Day 3 silverspurranchidaho Wednesday was the first day of the actual horse drive! We trailered out to the spot and started looking for and gathering the horses we’d be “driving” for the next couple days! We had 37 total to keep track of! It was the hottest and most dry part of the drive, but probably the most fun for me 🫢 YOU GUYS I LOVED RUNNING WITH THE HORSES. I was so freaking nervous to gallop because it was literally the second time I’d ever done it, but by the end I couldn’t stop smiling! I owe it all to the horse I was on, Butch knew what to do and made sure we had a safe time. I’ll never forget this day and those feelings! There was only one time at the end of this ride that we took off and I was positive I was about to fall off 😂😅 luckily he slowed down and I stayed on. I loved both being in the back and the front of the pack. The front we could go fast, but the back was fun to actually keep watch of the horses, it was just more of a fast trot when we ran the horse...
