This is what I made for my birthday dinner, and honestly, it’s exactly what I crave every year. Grilled shrimp. But not just any shrimp, Mazatlecan shrimp. The best I’ve ever tasted. Marinated in tequila and citrus, seared over live fire, and finished with a smoky, sweet molcajete jamaica butter. Served with grilled nopales, radishes, and warm tortillas. Simple, bold, and full of flavor.
I love cooking outside, especially when the food is this good. And yeah, the little grill I used made it all happen.
If you love shrimp, or grilling, or just need something special for your next cookout, make this.
