It is your responsibility as the property manager to send reminder notices about rent. It is not the tenant’s job to remember to pay their rent. That’s what I have BURNED into my brain because legally that’s how the law is written. Without notices, you cannot justify in court that someone should or should not be removed. Now rentrediofficial can’t send these notices on your behalf. BUT they can send REMINDERS that rent is due. That is why I believe I’ve gotten so many of the partial payments I have up until this point. Those automated email reminders are a godsend.
