My leg day staples that helped grow my quads 🤪
• leg extensions! I absolutely love pre exhausting my quads with these. Pre exhausting ensures intensity by forcing the target muscle to a point of muscular failure and then pushing them even further with compound movements.
• Front squats. This is my favorite compound lift for quads. I also sometimes do heel elevated front squats as well
• heavy leg press! These have been my absolute favorites recently. Having a low and narrow stance helps isolate and target the quads. I either do drop sets of 10,20,30 or 4x20
•Bulgarian split squats or some sort of unilateral movement.
•heel elevated goblet squats. I tend to super set these with body weight pulses as a finisher.
