In All About Love, bell hooks says, “The essence of true love is mutual recognition.” My community — and especially my Black queer community — has shaped my experience as an artist. My art, like my life, is an evolving journey of authentic expression and deep love for this community. Right now, I’m excited to be showcasing “All About Love” in Toulouse, France lesabbatoirs during #ToulousePride. Today and every day, I believe in telling my truth, sharing my personal narrative, and contributing positive, tender images of Black women loving Black women — because seeing ourselves matters.
