See if you can recognize the logo I’m building before I reveal the answer. . Did you see it? It’s the famous Mitsubishi logo made from 6 equilateral triangles. It’s perfectly balanced and in my opinion, perfectly designed. . Yataro Iwasaki, the founder of the old Mitsubishi organization, chose the three-diamond mark in 1964 as the emblem for his company. The mark is suggestive of the three-leaf crest of the Tosa Clan, Yataro’s first employer, and also of the three stacked rhombuses of the Iwasaki family crest. I wish I knew the original designer however I wasn’t able to dig up that information. If you happen to know, please let me know in the comments. .
