I’ve been getting the question if I’m still going to compete at @crossfitgames semi finals next weekend in Orlando since announcing I’m pregnant! And YES!!! Truthfully, I’ve had moments of caring about what others would think of me (at the age of 35, I still struggle with that!) I actually waited until the last hour to accept my invite. But, at the end of the day, the EFFORT I can give for where I’m at in life right now doesn’t change! Does my “performance” look different? Haha, you bet ya! But the effort I’ll put in next weekend will hopefully make me proud, and so that doesn’t change! I’ve worked really hard for this since becoming a mom. And I am very excited to do my best, for a 13 week pregnant mom out there. I also feel like I have a slight advantage now because as a mom, I do this for my kid too- to show him what he is capable of! And now I can show this little, God given baby in my belly that too! I always want to inspire others, and that means more to me than winning events...
