I bought a Safari Porsche. A few months ago jonnyroams asked if I wanted to buy his Safari Porsche. He was upgrading to a Turbo 944, but wanted to keep the original in the family so we could do shit like this. I was skeptical: I’m not the most mechanically inclined, so the idea of owning a 40 year old car seemed like a bad idea, but luckily 944_safari has put a ton of love and care into this car, so it’s much less of a project car than most 944s. Still getting the hang of driving manual for the first time, and nothing is more embarrassing than having a group of teenagers pop their head out the window to tell you the love your car only to have to accidentally burn out at the next stoplight… but we’re making progress.
