Clean cuts don’t happen by accident—they’re built through purposeful progressions. Here’s how we layer intent and complexity in our cut progressions: 1️⃣ 3-step approach – Focuses on body position, posture, and clean footwork into the cut. This builds a technical foundation without the distraction of speed. 2️⃣ 5-yard sprint into the cut – Introduces velocity and forces the athlete to manage deceleration and control into the cut. It bridges the gap between drills and movement under pressure. 3️⃣ 10-yard sprint into the cut – Replicates game-like momentum. Athletes must now manage higher speeds, apply the brakes efficiently, and redirect force with precision. Every progression is intentional—teaching athletes how to brake, plant, and redirect without wasted movement. Whether it’s a 90° or 135° cut, vector-specific demands require layered exposure to both speed and control. #ChangeOfDirection #AgilityTraining #TrainTrue #TrueAP #SpeedDevelopment #MovementEfficiency #TrainWithPurpos...
