Although most people in this country understand that access to this life-saving medical care is necessary, Trump and the Republicans continue to put their personal beliefs over science and our right to control our medical decisions, bodies, and futures. And, despite Trump recently revoking guidance on EMTALA—it still remains law. The Big Bad Betrayal Bill that is now in the Senate, is aiming to do many harmful things to moms and families, including "defund" Planned Parenthood, which provides affordable birth control, wellness checkups, and cancer screenings for millions of people across the country. It is shameful to keep pushing this bill, knowing the harm it will do to our public health system, the economy, and the very people Republicans were elected to serve.
