The Area Agency on Aging of West Alabama is offering residents a look at how they can help prevent elder abuse in Northport Monday, June 30. The Elder Justice Seminar is happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Synergic Center, 3500 5th St. in Northport. Social workers will receive free Continuing Education Units and lunch will be provided by AARP. The seminar features keynote speaker Paul Greenwood, a national expert with over 20 years of leading the Elder Abuse Protection in San Diego.
