Thanks to the support of our Toadfish community, we’ve donated 6 livewatersports paddleboards from sup.customs to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources! These boards will directly support SCDNR’s Spartina grass restoration efforts in our coastal tidal creeks. Spartina alterniflora (smooth cordgrass) is a foundational species in our local salt marsh ecosystems. Planting it helps stabilize shorelines, reduce erosion, and restore vital habitats for native wildlife, including fiddler crabs, ribbed mussels, a variety of wading birds and shorebirds, and so much more.
