Buckle up cause we’re diving in! 🚨🔊 The opening shot may look simple, but tracking the camera as our actress walked across the scene meant tedious manual tracking work instead of using automated tools, and blending and morphing smoothly between tracking markers that got obscured by her movement. The team also had to account for real-world elements like a wine glass refracting the CGI speaker behind it, needing to composite various distorted versions of the CGI elements inside the glass to match the footage. 🔎🍷 With the use of product cutsheets and CADs provided by MiTek and Lavidge, we built 3D assets that blend seamlessly into the footage. Every reflection, shadow, and texture were carefully crafted to match real-world lighting and materials.  🚘 And the trunk shot? Fully CG. We still planned to film it practically as a CG asset to transition to the exterior of the trunk. It made a great reference to 3D for smoother motion and full control of the lighting.  🤝 Collaboration wa...
