More than 30 women in New Jersey have found a sisterhood in a similar and strange passion: long nails. With nails that are ornate, flashy and several inches long, the women, who refer to themselves as the “long nail goddesses”, visit nail stylist Maria Ortiz truformnails 2-3x a week to keep their nails strong — and friendship stronger.
