U of A researcher Grant Bruno is working with First Nations communities, including his own, to reframe how we understand autism. As a member of the Samson Cree Nation and Canada’s first First Nations faculty member in pediatrics, he is working to break down colonial narratives and build more inclusive, culturally grounded supports for autistic children and their families.
