Kim Jong Un has opened a new beach resort in the DPRK.⁣ ⁣ Kim cut a ribbon to open the big development on the east coast of the country on 24 June, according to video from state media.⁣ ⁣ The DPRK leader opened the resort with his daughter Kim Ju Ae and wife Ri Sol Ju.⁣ ⁣ The resort area is near the port city of Wonsan, which used to be a prosperous area due to links with Japan. Boats would ferry passengers between Japan and Korea as well as goods like second-hand cars and bicycles.
