Today at approximately 6:15 AM, while operating at the scene of a traffic collision on the westbound I-10 freeway near Mountain View Ave your redlands_firefighters were involved in a secondary accident when a vehicle struck the rear of Medic Engine 264.

The crew of Medic Engine 264, along with Medic Truck 261 and lomalindafd ME252 immediately exited their apparatus and began extricating and providing lifesaving care to the driver of the vehicle that had struck them.

🔹 All firefighters on Medic Engine 264 are being evaluated for minor injuries.
🔹 The driver of the other vehicle sustained major injuries and was transported to llumc by Redlands Firefighter/Paramedics and AMR.
