As athletes, we’re always developing physically, but spaces like this are a reminder that personal growth off the field is just as important.
It was inspiring to be in a room full of organizations committed to helping athletes build meaningful careers, lasting brands, and futures beyond sport.
One presentation that really stood out to me was from the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association), the only female-specific organization at the summit. They spoke about how they support women players who choose to start families while still competing, and recently added ranking protection for athletes undergoing IVF or fertility preservation treatments like egg freezing. It was powerful to hear that kind of support exists, and it reinforced how important it is to create space for women to thrive in both sport and life.
