We had the honor of recognizing Michael McGee as our Mass State Lottery Hero of the Game. Michael McGee has shown exceptional service, bravery, and commitment as a member of the US Marine Corps. We are grateful for his dedication and service. Michael is a Dennis resident who joined the US Marine Corps at 17, serving with grit and honor from 2009 to 2013. He spent his 18th birthday in the intensity of Marine Corps Boot Camp and his 21st in the deserts of Afghanistan, earning a field promotion to Corporal and an honorable discharge as a Sergeant. Now, Michael pours that same resolve into his role as Director of Operations for 22Mohawks, a nonprofit relentlessly fighting veteran and first responder suicides, while working proudly as a Housing Case Manager at the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center in Hyannis.
