💡 Streetlight Safety Project Nearing Completion! We’re in the final stretch of a major street lighting improvement project along Apache Trail and Superstition Boulevard—designed to improve visibility and enhance nighttime safety for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists in Apache Junction. In partnership with ADOT, this $1.6 million project is fully funded through the Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) and adds 118 new streetlights in key areas. This includes both sides of Apache Trail from Palo Verde Drive to SR-88 and the south side of Superstition Boulevard from Meridian Drive to SR-88. Crews have finished boring and are installing the new poles, with full activation expected in the next couple of weeks.
