Despite not truly being satisfied with my performance, the need for an offseason doesn’t change. The HYROX season is long, so it’s important to take a break when you can!
The last 14 days, I have NOT trained at all. No supplements, no macro tracking, no tracking of sleep, limited social media and just really being present with friends and family 💛 catching up on all the things in life training for a world championship does not give you time for 🫣😌🙌
I know it can be tempting get straight back out there. Especially if you don’t feel like your performance was truely there after a big race - BUT rembember the huge effort leading into these races, the travel and the tremendous amount of stress leading into it - so give the body and more than important your mind the deserved rest it needs 🫶 training will feel so much better, when you get back into it again 🥳
