3 DAYS LEFT TO VOTE 🗣️ Four years ago, Lailaa and I were sitting on the couch watching with pride as Kamala Harris was sworn in as the first female Vice President in history. I remember turning to Lailaa and saying “see, now you too can become Vice President” only to have her respond “why couldn’t I before?” Lailaa and her entire generation have grown up in a world of endless possibilities; where boxes and limitations didn’t exist; where regardless of one’s race, religion, gender, or beliefs, we are all viewed as equals and as humans. Now, sitting on this same couch 4 years later with Lailaa and her two younger brothers, that world is at risk. Our family where my kids have two moms and other families like ours out there are in danger. As a parent, I can’t sit idly by and allow that to happen.
