A viral video from Korean influencer “Bangkokboy.du7,” also known as P’ Hong, is drawing attention online after he confronted a Bangkok taxi driver who allegedly overcharged his tourist sister. The driver reportedly demanded 1,000 baht for a short trip without using the meter and claimed the passenger had agreed to the price despite not speaking Thai. P’ Hong, who’s lived in Thailand for 20 years, played a recording to explain the situation and questioned the fare, pointing out the short distance between Siam Paragon and their destination. The driver justified the cost by citing expressway fees and an empty return trip, but later fled when P’ Hong threatened to call the police. He posted, “My sister got scammed. Please warn your foreign friends. I don’t want anyone else to go through this.” via: @/bangkokboy.du7 📽️Video by: Gabe Jung 🤳Click our linkinbio to sign up to our daily newsletter. 📰Follow us for the latest Asian News NextShark #news #reel #bangkokscam ...
