What a terrible experience and few days using @british_airways. Yesterday you just cancelled my flight, couldn't rebook online and no-one answered the phone. Had to go to Heathrow to get it sorted and then had to travel somewhere else. I was told by staff that my flight was cancelled due to staff calling in sick because of the football. Today, my flight was meant to take off nearly 3 hours ago, was told we were going to have a slight delay due to bad weather. Sat on the plane for over 2 hours and then told that the plane has engineering issues and a strong smell of fuel, followed by fire staff entering the plane. Also, the crew have run out of water and have limited food on board. Everyone has just been told to get off the aircraft - and no one knows what time and/or if we will get back to London tonight. A complete an utter shambles - now on the way back to the terminal building. I would welcome any update. #BritishAirways #Shambles
