A CHS Companions service group recently returned from a trip to Montana, where it served communities in need. In the CHS Companions Program, juniors respond to the Ignatian call to service via immersion trips. The group served in various capacities in and around a small town named for the founder of the Jesuits, St. Ignatius, The town is situated on the Flathead Indian Reservation; a main purpose of the trip is to engage the culture of the Native Americans there. The town is also home to the historic St. Ignatius Mission. The CHS group consisted of Ethan Fronczak, Matthew Kreuzer, Nicholas Scime, Patrick Cosgrove, Austin Xiao, Liam O’Leary, Michael Riad, Brendan Copeland, William LaCivita and Kellen Paterson. The adult leaders of the trip were Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Charles Frederico, S.J., and Campus Minister Dr. Joe Amuso.
