Early this January at Carmel High School, the girls' bathrooms were redecorated with signs consisting of positive messages. Social Media Manager of This Club Saves Lives at Carmel High School, Shannon Ikemiya, re-initiated this project after it had been put on pause years before, with hopes to promote positivity, female empowerment, and to beautify the bathrooms. She designed the graphics, and they were printed with the help of visual arts teacher, Holly Lederle. The club is hoping to brighten up the campus, both visually and emotionally, after all the hardships students have experienced these past years.
Thank you to Shannon for creating this wonderful post!
