Another fantastic celebration from our Communications Intern, Shannon! Veronica Craft, the school counselor for Carmel River School, initiated a project called the Promise Wall. Each student at Carmel River School printed their handprint on the back of a classroom wing. Before the hands met the colorful paint, the students as a whole, formed a promise to act using all of the pillars of character (each represented by a different color) and with equality. The base of their promise was based on Lebron James' book, “I Promise,” and each classroom has their own copy. Principal Mr. Jay Marden even participated, by creating his hand print with all of the colors.
