⚠️ Bleach retouches are getting more complex when we have longer roots. - hair_by_oana ❤️ Longer than an inch growth. The longer the roots, the more challenging it is to get seamless. The lightener swells and expands as it processes, right? So we have to anticipate and allow room to swelling, that’s way my application is not right from the scalp. Also I’m taking in consideration the warmth of the scalp. Our scalp generates heat and processes the lighter almost like siting under the heat. When the roots are grow out too far, the hair is further from the scalp and that means the hair will lift slower and can crate banding. So for the best blonde, no banding and less work our clients should get in every 4-6 weeks. The longed the roots the more difficult our retouch application becomes.
