Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall's Office released more information Friday on a multi-agency and multi-city operation executed June 23 targeting stores selling illegal marijuana products. The operation comes just ahead of a July 1 start of new laws in the state further restricting the sale of products containing THC. Locations of the raids included Troy, Enterprise, Clanton, Wetumpka, and Montgomery. The warrants were obtained after a nearly year-long investigation into the sale of plant-based materials containing illegal levels of THC being sold over the counter.
